I am a netbook Geek.

I have owned and used the Netbook followed in the last 1.5 years:

Lenovo S10
HP Mini
Dell Mini
Asus 1000, 1005 and 1008
and now Toshiba NB205-311

I can tell you that simply stated that Toshiba wipes them all. I would say that the Asus 1008 is probably the better looking netbooks I've used, but here's what makes Toshiba the clear winner:

I had a long transition from a traditional handset on a Netbook. Following the acquisition of a powerful desktop, I need a laptop with a lot of power less than prime. So, after assessing that my use of a laptop really only relevant web browsing, email and some word processing, I decided on the portability of a Netbook so. Next was to make a choice.

Well let’s try it a different way as many videos here on youtube use all type of methods but some are way to complex for most of us. So lets see if you use a Sandisk Micromate, 4GB SDHC card, Virtual CD/DVD Clone freeware software, Xcopy to transfer the data files from VCC to 4GB SDHC you formatted to FAT. This is how I did and sure these netbooks have there own card slots but lets focus on using an external one that doesn’t need to be setup in the bios nor anything else. As you can see from Part 1 video of the process works. In Part 2 video you will see the final results. What was so fast it will take only 15 minutes to put the OS on the system. It fits into a bag. Battery life is good. I miss the drawer of the CD, but most often it is not necessary and only an additional burden. I will probably buy an external USB CD reader / writer.

The self protection "I am please" mode is probably a good idea, but a little 'annoying.

www.pdair.com for 6 CellBattery. Contains 2 credit card slot and 4 memory card slots. Opens and closes with magnetic ,for ease of use. White stitch finishing,making this case look more beautiful.
